Bliss Couture would like to invite all the Second Life’s Fashion Bloggers to choose their favourite creation of the past three years of our label, including both the formal and basic designs and all the three collections (Bliss Couture, Bliss Couture Hair and Bliss Couture Basic).
I knew immediately which design I would chose to enter this contest, the ” Isabella” gown. I think this is one of the first gowns Amutey DeCuir, owner and designer of Bliss Couture, has released in the beginning. I remember I used this beautiful gown for my very first portfolio which Mr. Ludwig Prinz made for me. I had to dig into my inventory and I still have those pictures. Let me show you…. The good old days…. LOL
Yep, that’s me! I really look different at this moment, but this gown has always been my favorite. Not only because of the beautiful textures used in this design, but also the memories I cherish about this gown. I also wore the Isabella gown during the Semi-Finals of Miss Bliss Couture 2010 – which made me go trough Finals. And if that wasn’t enough, I also won this competition and I was crowned January 9th 2010, as Miss Bliss Couture 2010. but unfortunately, because of RL Family commitments I had to resign in April 2010 and my 1st runner-up, the beautiful and adorable Mimmi Boa, took over my crown and duties. But I never stopped loving Bliss Couture and the designer.
The Isabella Gown is a truly stunning ornate floral gown with strapless bodice. The bodice has a contrasting band of detail around the top which matches the bottom of the skirt. The floor length, full balloon drop waist skirt of silk satin, continues the floral inspired pattern from the bodice top with each separate flexified pleat featuring the floral design. This gown comes with a pair of matching gloves and would look fantastic at any formal event. This gown is available in 4 colors; Original Navy, Ruby, Blue and Pink. I’m showing you the Original Navy Version.
Now, on June 29th 2011, more then 2 years after I wore this amazing gown for the first time, I changed my way of styling and overall look… And this is the result. I really hope you like it 🙂
