Never Cut What You Can Untie~ Joseph Joubert

Today’s designer, like yesterdays, Aliza Karu of AD Creations Doll House is another artist who thinks to the left of mainstream. She is not afraid to test the boundaries of what can be envisioned by the average brain and she puts a lot of attention into the details of her craft. Her designs travel the range from the typical mainstream fashion, to incredibly cool haute styles and dips even into the macabre. She is one of those people I would be tempted to spend a week in her brain, but I don’t know for sure I wouldn’t be frightened at some point. (I am a pretty docile Cao after all.) But I DO know I love her shop. I can wander there for days and its one of the places I visit first if I have a unique styling event coming up because I know I can find items that will boost my visibility, make me more creative and take a non-inspirational outfit and kick it up to WOWZING perfection.

AD Creations Haw Mandala omochi

This outfit from AD Creations Doll House is going to be avilable at the opening of The Couturier’s Dock on Tuesday and is called “Haw.” And like all things from Aliza, it’s beautiful perfection all together and in parts. The hat is fun with its flowered branches and mannequin on top, the outfit is something I would throw on every day if I could get away with it. I love the scarving and the way it winds its way around your body and the leggings are funtional, chic and make any day as sublime as a Sunday morning. I threw on a belt from House of Fox, but in retrospect I wish I hadn’t because it really doesn’t need it. So if you are looking for something chic to wear, stop by and pick this up at the Couturier’s Dock, I think you will be glad you did!

Welcome to Couturier’s Dock! We are Salimar Art SIM and in just a few more sunrises we will be hosting a group of designers with a Passion for creating fashion. We purposely kept our designer’s list limited to some of the designers we feel have niched their own genre of fashion so the items available to you will be unique, limited to lots of 35 units, will be affordable at a price range of 50 to 500 Lindens (50% off the main store price) and we hope will be a treasured addition to your Second Life inventory. On May 15th, and recycling every 15 days, we are opening our SIM featuring creatively minded designers, to you, our creatively minded consumer’s. We are very happy to have all of these dedicated SL designers committing items to this event and the only thing missing is YOU. Will you please join us?

About the Author

Caoimhe
My name is Caoimhe Lionheart. I've lost my Second Life shine these days, not jaded, just resigned. Second Life is filled with so many self-serving people. Them aside, the beautifully kind, intelligent people are the ones I am drawn to. I feel it's incredibly special and unique on the occasions that I meet someone who is sincere in nature, kind to the bone and their beauty shines from within. Now those people, and I have met quite a few, they are the reason Second Life is uniquely wonderful and special to me. I am a prankster and a gad about. I love to laugh and create fun and I have a real bad Fashion addiction. My friends call me Cao (and I am pretty sure they are saying Cow) but thats okay, it kinda fits. I enter contests to show off the abilities of the photographer or clothes I am wearing, not for the pursuit of the win and I always enjoy a good chat. Thanks for the read, perhaps one day you too will be a friend. =)
